ClipSubtitles keeps private media only for a bounded period by default.
Source video or audio: 30 days
Final exports: 7 days
Preview exports: 24 hours
Upload target: 1 hour
Signed playback and download URLs: 15 minutes
Open render quotes: 15 minutes
Workspace owners can set source retention from 1 to 365 days and final-export retention from 1 to 90 days in Settings. The expiry shown beside a file is the authoritative date for that object.
Transcript and project metadata can remain after source media expires. This lets you continue editing captions and create text subtitle files. A new video render needs its source media, so upload the source again if it has expired.
Deleting a project cancels its active work and removes the source and export objects immediately. Project metadata is soft-deleted for audit consistency. Deletion cannot be reversed through the product UI.
For an account-level access or deletion request, contact [email protected] from the workspace email and describe the scope. Do not send identity documents or credentials unless a human support agent gives a verified, necessary and secure route.
ClipSubtitles keeps transcript text out of operational logs. Signed download links are temporary private capabilities. Do not publish or store them as permanent links.
